Description
As a volunteer with FLIC, I assist individuals during Citizenship Drive events, helping them complete the Form N-400 (Application for Naturalization) and guiding them through eligibility checks for fee waivers (Form I-912). I also help connect applicants with pro bono attorneys who review their cases.
This experience deepened my understanding of the immigration process in the United States and showed me the real-life impact of global migration on families and communities. It was especially powerful to support immigrants as they take an important step toward U.S. citizenship.
